One Solution Machine: Laser-based process chain in a single fully automated machine
The high-performance RDX800 automatic machine platform combines high-precision laser micromachining, automation, part handling, and quality control. Various laser processes such as cutting, ablation, structuring, drilling, marking, and functionalization are carried out in a single laser cell and combined with part separation, assembly, and measurement processes. This allows process steps to be parallelized and streamlined, interfaces to be minimized, complex manufacturing sequences to be efficiently automated, and, in particular, production costs to be reduced.
With accuracy in the single-micrometer range, the machine is particularly well-suited for manufacturing components for applications in medical technology and electronics.
Various material combinations and multilayer systems, such as those used in printed and flexible electronics or modern sensors, can be processed with the highest precision and repeatability. The machine design can be customized to accommodate different material and feeding configurations:
- Roll-to-roll (R2R)
- Roll-to-sheet (R2S)
- Sheet-to-sheet (S2S)
